Every service is built around one question
If your organisation were challenged on its AI use tomorrow - what could you show them?
Our services are designed to answer that question. Some clients start with a board briefing. Most go straight to the Statutory Assurance Pack. All of them leave with something they can use when it matters.
Services
AI Governance Pulse Check
Most public sector organisations don't know how exposed their current AI use leaves them. The Pulse Check gives you a clear answer in days, not weeks — a structured assessment of your current AI landscape, your most material governance gaps, and the one action your organisation should take immediately. It is the fastest way to move from uncertainty to a defensible position.
Typical engagement: half day · Eligible for direct award without formal tender
Statutory Assurance Pack
The Statutory Assurance Pack is the governance file your Monitoring Officer, DPO, and audit committee can point to when challenged. We assess your AI landscape across all 10 domains of the Udzamu Benchmark, score your maturity from Absent to Embedded, map your evidence gaps, and produce a prioritised action plan your leadership can implement immediately. Scored against UK GDPR, the Public Sector Equality Duty, the Algorithmic Transparency Recording Standard, and sector-specific obligations.
Typical engagement: 2 days on-site or hybrid · Eligible for direct award without formal tender
Transparency Engine
When residents ask how AI is being used to make decisions about them, most councils cannot answer clearly. The Transparency Engine produces a public-facing governance pack — a plain-English explanation of what your AI systems do, how decisions are made, how residents can challenge outcomes, and an accountability map that satisfies ATRS requirements. It is the evidence of responsible AI use that internal governance documents alone cannot provide.
Typical engagement: 3–5 days · Eligible for direct award without formal tender
AI Procurement Gatekeeper
Most AI governance failures begin at the point of purchase. Before your organisation commits to a vendor, we assess whether AI is genuinely the right solution for your challenge, evaluate the supplier's governance position, and produce a formal suitability decision — proceed, proceed with conditions, or do not proceed. If the answer is proceed, we provide a vendor governance schedule specifying the evidence and commitments your supplier must deliver at contract award, before go-live, and quarterly after deployment.
Typical engagement: scoped to procurement timeline · Proposal within five working days
Board-Level AI Briefings
Elected members and senior leaders are being asked to approve, scrutinise, and defend AI decisions they were never trained to evaluate. Our structured briefings give your board and senior leadership the working knowledge to govern AI confidently — what AI can and cannot do, what your legal obligations are, what questions to ask suppliers, and what good governance looks like in practice. Tailored to your organisation's current AI use and risk profile.
Half-day or full-day format · Proposal within five working days
Crisis Readiness Retainer
When an FOI lands, a discrimination complaint arrives, or a scrutiny member asks an uncomfortable question about an AI decision, you need a named specialist available fast — not a helpdesk. The Crisis Readiness Retainer gives your organisation independent, ongoing scrutiny of how AI is deployed and governed, quarterly Benchmark refreshes, regulatory monitoring as legislation evolves, and a named expert you can reach within four business hours. Your AI never operates without accountability.
Annual retainer · Proposal within five working days
Framework Implementation
Governance intentions mean nothing without the structures to enforce them. We build a complete, repeatable governance system alongside your team — AI governance policy, risk assessment process and templates, AI register, DPIA templates adapted for AI, ATRS submission template, accountability map, and role and responsibility definitions. Everything your Monitoring Officer, DPO, and scrutiny committee need to demonstrate that AI is governed, not just deployed.
Typical engagement: 4–6 weeks · Proposal within five working days
